EX-Z33 although not among the costlier range cameras has two high-tech features.

Design

It measures 92.1×56.1×18.1mm. EX-Z33 is not very small but small enough to slip into the pockets. Despite the fact that it is made up of plastic it has a good build quality. It is in such a way it can also be used by children. Apart from beginners, it also suit for people with experience with some default Scene modes.

Video recording

Videos are recorded in resolution 848 x 480, 640 x 480 and 320 x 240 which is best suitable for uploading in You tube. It has a one touch button for a quick start and stopping the recording. The shutter speed is pretty quick too. It does not have a limitation for video recording time. This is an added advantage. As it is a cheap digital camera it cannot be denied that it lacks some of the features. It does not have optical image stabilization and HDMI support.

Even some high pixel digital camera lack sound recording in video, but EX-Z33 has the option of sound recording with or with video. The storage capacity depends upon the memory card used. It supports microSD memory card.

It comes along with a inbuilt rechargeable battery which reduces the stress of using separate batteries. This is accompanied with the software that comes along with the pack. The software also includes the option of uploading videos especially to You tube.

The cheap camera does not make you to feel so. The camera setting can be changed in Menu option. The focus frames is an additional option that comes along with the setting. The camera allows you to adjust sharpness and contrast and allows you to add filter colors. There is an Easy Mode option that blocks down all the setting and allows you to take photos while the camera controls all the settings.

One of the disadvantages is that the zooming option is not available in video recording. The camera takes a minimum of 2.5 seconds to turn on and allow taking photos. However once it is turned on, the process is pretty fast. Once a snap is taken, you have to wait only for 3 second to take the next shot, which is acceptable considering its cost.

Battery

The rechargeable battery is Li-ion Battery which is almost employed in all digital camera and gives a worthy battery life. It is essential to follow the initial charging conditions. The pack includes a camera cover, USB cable, Wrist Strap, Battery charger and a CD-ROM including above specified software.
