Energy drink using Ginger

Ginger has been used by one or the other to cure certain ailments. It has got many medicinal values in it. Ginger is used in almost all home made stuff because it helps in digestion very much. Ginger has a peppery, crisp taste which will be very good in savory and sweet dishes.

Ginger also does great in preventing or getting rid of nausea, motion sickness, morning sickness and indigestion. There are certain things in it which makes the kids and babies smarter. Ginger tea is very good in soothing muscle pain, sore throat and cold. Even for rheumatoid arthritis, ginger is good.

Some of the chemo patients have found that ginger tea will combat against nausea. Thus here is the preparation of the energy drink using ginger and other substances. Things needed are 1 gallon of distilled water, 2 pounds of ginger, 2tsp chopped fresh mint, 1 lemon juice, 2tsp cayenne pepper, 2oz of ginseng, 2oz of bee pollen, 2ltr bottle of club soda, sugar, or turbinado, etc and ¼ cup honey.

March 1:

Ginger should be peeled off and should be cut into rough chinks. Half of these ginger chunks have to be put into a pot having half gallon of distilled water with one cup of lemon juice. Simmer to low heat. Ginger flavor should be deep in water so it should be heated in simmer. After the water has got ginger taste, the heat should be removed. This should be steeped in pot for half an hour.

March 2:

Other half of the ginger has to be mashed. For this juicer can be used.

March 3:
This mashed ginger has to be put into the mixing bowl and mint, lemon juice, honey and cayenne has to be added. This should be mixed well. The hot ginger water should be strained into the ginger mashed bowl. Now, it should be stirred well. This mixture has to be poured into a pitcher and ginseng, bee pollen has to be added. About half a bottle of club soda has to be filled in. this solution has to be stirred gently so that the bubbles don’t de-gas. Sweetness has to be adjusted if its necessary by adding sugar.

March 4:
Now the energy drink is ready. This can be drunken cold or warm. Even this drink can be carried in sports bottle. If this drink is drunk warm then it soothes the sore throat. This is healthier too than any other energy drinks available in market. It is safe too. This drink shouldn’t be drunk while going to bed.
