‘Garmin-Asus nüvifone M20’ Now with Windows Mobile 6.5- A Review
The Company Garmin Ltd. has announced recently that the nüvifone M20- mobile web browser, premium navigation system and an all-in-one phone is currently available with Windows Mobile 6.5 version. The users are provided with a variety of enhancements provided by Windows 6.5 like huge icons that are optimized by touch, mobile applications for Mobile available through Windows Marketplace and My Phone service of Microsoft which is very simple and convenient and a home screen that is streamlined which is loaded with Facebook beforehand itself.
The ‘Windows Marketplace’ provides facilities to download as well as install extra applications to the M20. It also provides mobile applications of high quality for purchase or for free, from essential business tools to famous social networking apps like MySpace to the numerous games. The My Phone service also provides a variety of features like data auto-syncing, remote data wiping, data migration, backup and restoration along with options to synchronize, view and share photos via phone, web and PC.
Garmin-Asus Company has merged the user interface based on navigation of signature with Windows 6.5. “By using a creative idea, the Company has integrated a navigator, browser and phone. The nüvifone M20 is devised to improve the people’s lives.” These words were uttered by Benson Lin, General Manager and Vice President of the ASUS Handheld Business Group. “Using Windows 6.5, users will completely enjoy the enhanced features of Location Based Service (LBS) in a more advanced and rich manner.”
“The phones brought out by Windows enable the users to obtain the best features from the phone, the Web and the PC with which you are able to keep in touch with people and the data that is important to you always, irrespective of where you reside at the moment.” These words were expressed by Stephanie Ferguson, General Manager in Product Management in Microsoft. “The nüvifone M20 provide the users with known, simple software on the Windows phone which offers an experience of premium navigation.”
The Garmin-Asus M20 which uses Windows Mobile 6.5 is made available in Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Ukraine, India, Czech, Poland, Turkey and Russia by this year end. The existing users of M20 which work on Windows 6.1 version can also apply for the Windows 6.5 version’s free update.
