Obesity is a condition in which excess body fat gets accumulated in the body. It is the main cause of certain diseases like arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes. Obese people suffer from various physical problems, mental conflict and low self esteem.
Obesity can be caused by lack of physical work, lack of balanced diet, hormonal changes, consuming fatty foods, unhealthy lifestyle, stress etc.
By controlling obesity it is possible to control the diseases that are caused due to obesity. Given below are a few home remedies to control obesity.
- Mix a small amount of natural honey and fresh ginger paste. Take it with natural guggul. This mixture is very effective in controlling obesity
- Ginger is very effective in burning excess fat from the body. Drink green tea or ginger tea every day
- Add one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of basal paste to lukewarm water. Drink this everyday at morning. It is an effective remedy for obesity control
- Add one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of lemon juice to lukewarm water. Drink it everyday at morning
- Horse gram is rich in iron and effective in controlling obesity. Soak one tablespoon of horse gram in a cup of water for about six to eight hours. Drink the solution everyday at morning. It is one of the best remedy to control obesity
- Include vegetables, fruits, lean proteins and whole grains in your diet.
- Include papaya, mango, banana, whole wheat bread, oatmeal, milk, cabbage, egg in the diet
- Avoid oily foods
- Avoid alcohol and smoking
- Drink lots of water. Water prevents dehydration and it suppresses appetite
- Add black pepper powder to vegetable soups and to vegetables. It helps to control obesity
- Exercise regularly
- Learn to manage stress
- Use vegetable oils for cooking. Avoid using excess butter and salt for cooking
