How to Treat Asthma Naturally?

Asthma an inflammatory disease can be cured naturally with the help of nutrients, minerals and vitamins available in nature. The Steroids used for asthma medicine may worsen the situation rather than curing. There are many minerals and vitamins known by doctors to limit the respiratory problems of an asthma attack, and proper medication and treatment can be successful in curing asthma.

1) Asthma attacks will induce large amount of dangerous molecules into the body. It may affect the body metabolism severely. You can neutralize these harmful molecules by taking extra doses of Vitamin E and Vitamin C regularly. Carrots are loaded with phytochemicals like Beta-carotene, which are strong antioxidant, neutralizes these free radicals caused from asthma. Green Tea or Ginger Tea possesses strong anti-oxidant which also helps in managing Asthma.

2) Use Ginseng herb regularly to treat asthma. Ginseng has anti-inflammatory properties, which reduces irritation in bronchus.

3) Take 500mg of magnesium supplements daily, which expands the bronchial tubes and eases the breathing. It also limits the chances of severe asthma attack. Vegetables like bean sprouts, Amaranth, okra, spinach, beets, Swiss chard and wheat germ have high magnesium content.

4) Mix the 50 mg of wild licorice or coleus with the Hot water. You need to take this 2 or 3 times a day. The Coleus has the ability to neutralize the lung infection caused by asthma. Since the coleus have steroid properly; this medications has to be taken in consultation with doctor.

5) Take more nuts, fish, caraway seeds, flaxseed oil and seeds in food. They constitute omega-3 fatty acids, which reduces the lungs swelling. Tuna and Salmon contain these fats or fatty acids.

6) Take garlic, onion, ginger, and also sea vegetables such as dulse, arame, and nori regularly in the food, which strengthens the body immunization and helps in easing inflammatory complications.

7) Chewing fennel seeds regularly which eradicates the unwanted mucus from lungs and also prevents future asthma attacks.

  1. I do agree that asthma can be managed by regular and proper use of Food supplements. This happened with me. I had asthma problem as old as 40 years. I started taking proper supplements from the last 4-5 years and now I feel comfirtable
