HP Pavilion incorporates a 1.5GHz Athlon CPU for this desktop. Hence, it tops the list by scoring the highest points in the WorldBench 6 score in competition with the devices of the same price and size. Integrated graphics do not offer much help to gaming with the rate of 11 frames / sec. 2GB of memory along with 300GB of storage capacity is included in this desktop.

The integrated wireless-N connectivity is present which offers an enchanting touch to those who wish to transfer files quickly like the gigabit LAN connectivity which is incorporated into the device. A DVD writer is also available. If you wish to upgrade the system’s memory and hard drive, then you have to remove the back panel of the device specified in the online documentation by HP. This should be appreciated since it is very complex and the company supports the direct manipulation of an all-in-one system.

The MS214 has a display screen of 18.5 inches at a resolution of 1366*768 pixels. The matte panel provides superb contrasts with zero glares. Saturation of pictures is stunning and colorful enriching the rich, vibrant movies and images. Touch screen is absent in the MS214 desktop despite having the OS as Windows 7 home Premium. The speakers are not so good with their tiny size and low quality.

The huge collection of HP software which is pre-installed gives a nice and significant touch to the MS214 desktop. For instance, the software dashboard is a wonderful tool for beginners to get a firm grip on the PC with respect to security features, storage capacity etc. Numerous MediaSmart programs are present to view pictures and movies. Out of the 6 USB ports, two of them are occupied by the keyboard and the mouse.

Hence, you are left with less number of connections for extra devices to be plugged since the desktop does not have an alternate connection standard, whether it is eSATA, HDMI, FireWire or DisplayPort. Over all, the desktop is huge, quick and an all-in-one system and is also available at a reasonable price.
