HP Pavilion P6230y Review
The HP P6230y is a desktop of middle range. It is available at a price of $680. The desktop has a power button which is smooth and has a blue LED. A sliding panel is present at the front face which hides the front USB 2.0, audio ports and the media card reader. The desktop features a quad core AMD chip having a high clock speed.
The device provides more ports when compared to its computing power. Six ports around the back, two USB ports on the front of the tower and a coaxial digital audio, DVI, FireWire, 7.1 analog audio, VGA, a built-in wireless networking card and Ethernet are available.
The device does not possess an eSATA port. Upgrades in the near future for this device is very essential. You will be provided with three 1x PCI Express slots, a free 16x PCI Express graphics slot and space for an extra hard drive. In case you are planning to upgrade the memory, you have to eliminate the existing RAM and insert a new one because all the four slots are engaged. HP manages to conserve the energy and thereby reduces the monthly bill.
The motherboard is integrated with a video chip that has the ability to handle all the desktop applications which are standard and incorporates a brand new AMD chip. HP offers one year warranty for labor and parts along with a 24*7 phone support which is toll free. It also offers help through online services and live support via chat. The service offered to the customers by HP is great.
