Hypokalemia is a condition that arises due to low potassium levels in the body. Potassium is very much essential for healthy functioning of heart, nerve cells and muscles. With the use of diuretics, normally the potassium gets lost in your urine. Also other health problems like kidney or eating disorder will also result in the loss of potassium from the body. With proper blood test you identify low potassium levels, nut the indications and symptoms of the condition signify Hypokalemia.

Keep a watch on heart rate count. If you are suffering from low potassium level then the heart will beat unevenly associated with pain in the heart palpitations.

Also get examined for muscle weakness. If you feel difficulty while walking or even carrying any items signifies weakness of muscles.
