Nikon Coolpix S70 review

The Nikon Company introduced new COOLPIX S70 with remarkable design and it varies from its old model S60. As it is chic and stylish everyone takes the pleasure in capturing pictures. The COOLPIX S70’s vivid OLED display is a highly responsive touch screen that proffers playback and fingertip shooting control choices. Touch shutter and on-screen sliders are provided in shooting control.

To create the visual objects it has the capacity of 12.1 megapixels coordinated with 5 X zoom NIKKOR lens extended with a focal length of 28-140mm.It upholds picture excellence and lucidity. The Nikon COOLPIX S70 price is $399.99, measures 3.8 x 2.4 x 0.8 inches, weighs 5.7 ounces including battery and media, 1/2.3-inch CCD, LCD size is 3.5-inch OLED, JPEG/Motion JPEG, 4,000 x 3000 pixels/ 640×480 at 30fps-high resolution.

The Optical lens and Electronic VR image systems helps to make Hazy free pictures. The High ISO 6400 permits more rapid shutter speed while shooting in dim light or taking  awesome subjects .The shutter speed is automatically controlled by Motion Detection and the  Nikon’s BSS (Best Shot Selector) is capable of shooting a chain of sequencing  frames and  prevents the one with the sharpest focus.

The four categories of S70 are shown in the above picture which is eye-catching and wiry camera and it is easily put inside a little handbag or pouch. The 5 X zoom NIKKOR lens is covered by metal sheet and glide downward then the camera is on. The touch AF choice is provided for releasing the shutter. Once the touch shutter is chosen on menu it shoots the focused subject. To the left of the screen on the top an icon option is provided for shooting mode. Just rap on it, immediately switched to the new mode.

The photos and movies are reviewed by clicking the play button. For zoom in and zoom out the pinch gestures could be used. The button option for touch AF mode is provided at the lower left end of the screen and to the right side onscreen zoom control is provided. The microUSB port is used to charge, sending images and movies to computer and Audio/Video to the TV or monitor.

The shooting options in Nikon COOLPIX S70 are ISO sensitivity and Burst mode shot limit, White balance, Recording and focus area modes. The best shot selector chose the sharpest image from the selected 10 frames .The scene mode is used to obtain onscreen slider to alter the results. The shutter lag is used for focusing and capturing and it takes 0.6 second in bright light and 1 second in faint light.

The video quality is excellence but with just digital zoom for recording.
