‘Panasonic HDC-HS200’ is one of the most famous and the best camcorders available at present.  The Panasonic’s combination of high speed performance and stunning image quality is excellent. The best gadget available for innovative film makers at present has to be the Panasonic HS200. The drawback of this device is its high price of US $1200. The camcorder is enhanced in its performance to a large extent and hence, the huge price.

The device uses a 1/4in CMOS group where each one of them has a resolution of 3.05 Mega pixels. That is, the camcorder provides good HD quality of video and excellent still images at a resolution of 7.95 Mega pixels. Some of the features are omitted here when compared to the HS300. The camcorder has an internal hard drive of 80GB capacity. This hard drive provides 7 hours of perfect video quality and thousands of images can be stored. The Camcorder works at 17mBits/sec.with zero inconvenience.

The LCD panel is sensitive to touch and is extremely reliable to adjust images and videos as desired by you. An absence of a lens ring is a terrible disappointment for professional photographers. In the auto mode, you have the AFAE mode. The other main features of the camera include macro mode, night view, contrast and backlight compensation. The Intelligent Auto systems have improved significantly, enabling the user to make small adjustments and access the different modes at your will.

You have 10 unique manual scene modes like portrait, outdoor, sports, incandescent etc that are thrilling to select from and will never make you bored. The shutter can be adjusted from 1/50th to 1/8000th and the iris can be assembled independently. The microphone enables you to record a 5.1 surround sound but there are no jacks available for headphones or external microphones. The HS200 camera has a resolution of 3984*2656 pixels, which offers more details and is more attractive than the HS300.

To sum up, the HS200 has similar sensors and optics as the TM300 and the HS300. The image quality is incredible with great build quality and performance.
