Review On Vodafone And Its Tariff

The ‘Vodafone Group Plc’ is the one of the world’s leading mobile operators having its branches in Asia Pacific, Europe, the United States and the Middle East via the company’s joint ventures, associated investments and undertakings and its subsidiary undertakings.

The mobile subsidiaries of the Group operate using the name ‘Vodafone.’ In the US, it is termed as the ‘Verizon Wireless.’ According to a survey conducted, the Vodafone Group had 323 million users as on Sept 30th 09. The Vodafone Group is a company which is public limited situated in England.

Tariff Plans of Vodafone:

Vodafone has introduced a new recharge card at Rs.74 for the new users. The users will be charged 2paise per second for the first minute everyday and then they will be charged just 1paise per second for all the STD and local calls each day. The validity of the tariff is 1 year from the recharge date.

A similar recharge card is available at Rs.66 for new users which incorporate a free SIM card with validity for a lifetime. The subscribers will be charged 1paise per second for all STD and local calls to Vodafone numbers. The users have to pay 1.2paise per second for the other connections like Reliance, Airtel etc both for local calls as well as STD calls. The recharge provides Rs.5 as talktime and has a validity of 1 year from the recharge date.

The existing Vodafone users can avail these benefits of tariff by recharging for Rs.64 and Rs.71 respectively. Vodafone has also come up with a new recharge card of Rs.251 which offers a talktime of Rs.225.50 with the validity not mentioned. The users may call to local and STD numbers of any network at 1paise per second for a month. Roaming, ISD and SMS rates are retained and are applicable according to the user’s tariff plan.

These recharge cards can be bought form Mini Stores, Vodafone Stores or an online recharge and is available from 50,000 retailers or more throughout Karnataka. The lifetime validity is available till Sept 25th of 2021.
